Most game improvement irons feature a design that amplifies misses to the right (to the left for left-handed players). The Qi irons feature a TaylorMade-patented design that controls face flexibility and eliminates excessive sidespin, resulting in straighter shots throughout the set.
Each individual head is designed to deliver specific performance for the individual iron. The foundation is built on maximum length and forgiveness, while the face is engineered to provide the launch angle and spin required for straight, consistent shots with all irons.
FLTD CG™ strategically places the center of gravity lowest in the long irons and then moves progressively higher throughout the set. The design makes the long irons easier to play with a higher launch angle while the short irons provide optimal precision and control.
Designed for consistent contact, the Qi irons feature a larger sweet spot. The extended blade length provides more forgiveness while the leading edge has been reshaped to give players consistent contact and a higher launch angle.
