Cobra's new driver family, DARKSPEED, features a new and groundbreaking aerodynamic design, an advanced PWR-BRIDGE weight technology and an advanced, AI-designed face. With three different models, LS, X and MAX, with completely different characteristics, Cobra can help golfers of all levels hit longer and straighter drives.
Cobra Darkspeed LS is developed for those who have high club speed and hit the ball well.
and who are looking for maximum ball speed and lower spin to maximize your distance.
The aerodynamics have been developed with a higher back and rounder edges to give you more speed with the club.
The striking surface, PWRSHELL HOT FACE, goes under the sole to allow more flex at low speeds.
hits and thus maintain length on thin hits. The back of the hitting surface has
designed using AI so that spin and ball speed are as constant as possible
possible when you hit outside the sweet spot.
PWR - BRIDGE is a weight that is placed close to the sole and the hitting surface, but which
at the same time allowing both the sole and the hitting surface to flex for higher ball speed.
In the LS model, this weight sits extremely close to the hitting surface.
New for this year is that the Darkspeed LS has three removable weights. Two of 3 gr and one of 12 gr.
Place the heavy weight in front towards the heel if you want more draw, place it towards
toe if you want more fade, or place it back if you want more spin and a more forgiving driver. Add Cobra's adjustable MyFly hosel where you can adjust loft and lie in eight positions (±1.5° loft), and you have a driver that you can really fine-tune to your swing.
