Cobra Darkspeed irons offer the perfect combination of forgiveness and distance with their hollow design and advanced PWRShell face. The elegant dark gray finish gives a stylish impression. Equipped with KBS Tour Lite steel shafts, delivered in sets of six (5–PW), with longer precision and soft ball impact.
The irons in Cobra's new Darkspeed family are designed for those looking for a forgiving club that also gives you more distance and has a pleasantly soft hit. Darkspeed irons have a hollow construction, which allows the face to flex more for increased distance. The hollow construction also allows for more weight in the sole, which gives a higher launch and more spin on the ball.
Just like the drivers and fairways in the Darkspeed family, the irons feature the curved PWRShell face. On the irons, the face extends both down the sole and up the top, making the club more forgiving over a larger portion of the face.
Just like in the driver, a PWR-Bridge weight is positioned to maximize ball speed
while the hitting surface and sole can flex freely. The cavity in the club is filled with a
Soft foam that dampens vibrations and above all produces a soft sound when the ball is hit.
Darkspeed irons are sold with the KBS Tour Lite steel shaft and in a set of six clubs:
5–PW. 4, GW and SW are available to order as custom. Note that the clubs have a
dark gray color instead of shiny chrome. The color not only makes the clubs look great, it
also makes the club feel a little smaller at address.
